Saudi- KAUCC starts admissions for online e-commerce program 

(MENAFN - Arab News) Admission to the KAU Community College 2012 online E-commerce program is open, professor Ibrahim Ismail Kutbi, the dean of the college announced recently.

Kutbi, who said applications could be made through the KAU electronic site, http://www.kau.edu.sa/admission_AR.aspx, said the program contains the best and modern curricula, beside the latest innovations, ideas, arts and practices in the field of e-commerce. Male applicants, regardless of their nationality, can apply for the program.

Applicants should have secondary school certificate.

The duration of study in this program will be for 3 years; a preparatory one in which the students study introductory courses including English, mathematics and computer courses.

The degree awarded after completing the program will be a university associate in applied science (AAS).

Kutbi said, the KAUCC is the first college in the Kingdom that offers the university associate degree in e-commerce through distant learning program.

He added also that the program in KAUCC has been accredited by the American Council on Occupational Education (COE) in 1430H.
