Egypt- AUC to discuss the Egyptian media post-revolution

(MENAFN - Youm7) The American University in Cairo has organized a panel discussion titled, 'Eight Months after the Revolution: Has the Egyptian Media become Free and/or Independent?'

The panel will take place tomorrow, Sunday, September 25 at 5:30pm in Ewart Memorial Hall on AUC's Tahrir Square campus.

The heads of three private television stations will take part in the dialogue: Albert Shafik of ONTV, Ibrahim Eissa of el-Tahrir TV and Mohamed Hany of CBC TV.

The discussion is organized by AUC's School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. It will be moderated by Hafez al-Mirazi, director of AUC's journalism center.

The panel will be conducted in Arabic, but simultaneous translation will be provided.
