(MENAFN - Qatar News Agency) HE the Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al Thani on Wednesday presided over the Cabinet weekly regular meeting held at its headquarters in the Emiri Diwan. Following the meeting, HE the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz al Thani stated the following:
The Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda and took the following decisions:
First: Approving the draft law allowing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) corporates to open branches in Qatar and to forward it to the Advisory Council.
Second: Taking the necessary action to issue a draft decree-law authorizing ratification of the Development and Fiscal Agreement (DFA) signed between the Government of Qatar, Qatar Petroleum (QP) and ExxonMobil Barzan Limited.
Third: The Cabinet reviewed a letter by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs on the annual report of the achievements of the Institute of Administrative Development (IAD) for the financial year 2010-11 and took the appropriate decision.
Fourth: To take the necessary measures to ratify:
A- A convention on mutual administrative assistance to enable the proper application of customs law in order to prevent, investigate and combat customs crimes between the Governments of the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Morocco.
B- A protocol on cultural cooperation in the field of restoration of castles, forts, archaeological sites and historical monuments in Qatar between the Governments of the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Morocco. C- An agreement between the Governments of the State of Qatar and the Government of the French Republic on the training of Qatari specialist-practitioners in France.
D- Approving the proposal of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning to sign a twinning agreement between Municipalities of Doha and Moscow
