Dubai's Aramex profit up 12 percent in Q2


(MENAFN) Dubai logistics firm Aramex reported a 12 percent rise in second-quarter net profit, driven by growing revenue in its core Gulf market, Gulf Daily News reported.

According to a bourse filing, Aramex posted a second-quarter net profit of USD22 million compared with USD19.7 million in the corresponding period of 2013.

"The firm would continue to look for more opportunities to invest in companies with synergies for its network, in line with previously-stated expansion plans," Aramex' CEO said.
