Jordan Telecom to slash cost of phone calls

AMMAN (JT) � Jordan Telecom announced it will slash the prices of local and international calls by 50 per cent until 9:00pm on Saturday.
Making the announcement, Chairman of the Board Shabib Ammari said, "Jordan Telecom has always been and will always be an integral part of the fabric of Jordan, and today we embody this relationship in tangible measures that help our brothers and sisters who want to comfort themselves about their loved ones... and who now want to reassure their friends and relations in all parts of the world."

The telecommunications group affirmed its "confidence in the security and stability of Jordan," adding that it intends to "stand by Jordan and its good people through thick and thin," according to a company statement.

Jordan Telecom group comprises of Jordan Telecom, Mobile.Com, Wanadoo and e-dimension.
