Omani Beach footbal team edge out China

(MENAFN - Times of Oman) The Sultanate of Oman's Beach football team made a positive start to their campaign in the Asian qualifiers of the Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup when they edged out China in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) yesterday.
According to information received here, Oman defeated China 2-1 at the Jumeriah Beach in Umm Suqeim. The goal scorers for Oman were, Mohammed Zayed and Yahya Al Uraimi.
The Oman team coached by Talib Hilal are the reigning champions of the Asian Beach Games having won the gold in the inaugural edition held in Bali last year.
