Lebanon- AUBMC signs pact with Medical Centre

(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) The American University of Beirut Medical Centre, or AUBMC, and Clemenceau Medical Center affiliated with Johns Hopkins International, or CMC, signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday to establish a new collaborative effort that sets the principles of cooperation between the two medical institutions.

The cooperation will focus on several aspects, both clinical and academic, that will help AUBMC and CMC enhance their delivery of the highest quality care possible.

The two institutions will team up on several levels, including the creation of centers of excellence, developing quality standards in healthcare, and collaborating on medical and educational activities.

"Excellence and relentless commitment for high quality patient care are deeply instilled in the institutional cultures of both AUB and CMC, and this is personified in the physicians, nurses and staff," said Dr. Mounes Kalaawi, CEO of CMC.
