(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) SAS Scandinavian Airlines, the leading carrier in Northern Europe, will begin the second season of flying the Dubai-Copenhagen route on October 30, 2008.
The thrice-weekly flights from Dubai will have an all-new improved scheduled of Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, using an Airbus A340, which offers a full intercontinental three-class service: Business, Economy Extra and Economy.
"I am proud to announce that the second season of SAS Airlines flights on the Dubai-Copenhagen route will take off from Dubai on October 30, following the arrival of the flight from Copenhagen scheduled to fly on October 29," Anna Lyzcak-Czepukojc, UAE District Manager, SAS Airlines, said.
"We at SAS Airlines are excited about the market's huge potential due to the fact that our flights serve as an important link between Scandinavia and the Middle East, and its two important air travel hubs — Copenhagen and Dubai.
"Apart from being a highly attractive business and leisure travel destination for Nordic travellers, Dubai also provides easy connection to other parts of the region. Similarly, easy connections from Copenhagen to other parts of Scandinavia, including Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki, are conveniently and easily available to Middle East travellers into Scandinavia," Lyzcak-Czepukojc added.
SAS Airlines Business Class passengers are expected to enjoy the highest level of comfort in SAS Business Sleeper seats that has a 170-degree recline in addition to its trademark Scandinavian service at its best.
Meanwhile, Economy Extra passengers are offered extra wide seats with increased leg space, efficient Business class check-in and security fast-track at selected airports, and individual screen with video-on-demand.
Finally, Economy Class passengers will have individual video screens to enjoy films, games and audio programmes throughout the flight.
