Riyadh to set up nanotechnology Institute

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has approved a proposal to establish a nanotechnology institute which will be laid out on a total of two million square meters, Arab News reported.
Furthermore, the center will be established in the Riyadh techno Valley and will serve as an advanced technology research center for King Saud University (KSU).
The rector of KSU publicized the initiative saying that the Saudi's Minister of Defense and Aviation has donated $8 million for the employment of top research scientists across the globe.
On another note, King Abdullah approved of the construction of 29 new colleges in various parts of the country as part of the government's drive to promote higher education.
