(MENAFN - SPA) CEOs and delegates from more than 20 contractor companies has met with Saudi Aramco executives in Khursaniyah for the Second CEO Meeting to discuss the progress on one of the largest oil and gas facilities being built in Saudi Arabia.

The Khursaniyah Project Department (KPD) organized a night of cultural exchange before the CEOs met with Saudi Aramco executives and presented their progress updates, according to a report carried yesterday by Saudi Aramco's web-site.

Ali A. Al-Ajmi, Vice President of Project Management, added, "You are not only building a facility and infrastructure, you are building a tool and an economy for a young nation. We remain committed to support you in every way."

The Khursaniyah Oil and Gas Facilities are being constructed about 140 kilometers northwest of Dhahran, spread over an area of 50 square kilometers.
The program includes grassroots oil production facilities that will produce 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) of Arabian Light (AL) crude oil from the Abu Hadriyah, Fadhili, and Khursaniyah fields.
The program also includes a grassroots gas plant to process 1 billion standard cubic feet per day (scfd) of associated gas and 80,000 bpd of hydrocarbon condensate to produce 600 million scfd of sales gas and 280,000 bpd of C2+ NGL.

There are 15 to 20 construction contractors working together to provide the labor, procure all the materials and construct the facilities.
