Hewlett-Packard, Analog Devices, Brocade, Tyson

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Among the shares expected to see active trade in Monday's session are Hewlett-Packard, Analog Devices, Brocade and Tyson.

Hewlett-Packard Co. HPQ is expected to report earnings of $1.12 a share in the fourth quarter, according to a consensus survey by FactSet Research.

Analog Devices Inc. ADI is projected to post earnings of 26 cents a share in the fourth quarter.

Brocade Communications Systems BRCD is forecast to post earnings of 13 cents a share in the fourth quarter.

Tyson Foods Inc. TSN is likely to report earnings of 27 cents a share in the fourth quarter.

Campbell Soup Co. CPB is expected to post fiscal first-quarter earnings of 81 cents a share.

After Friday's closing bell, The Wall Street Journal reported that Hershey Trust, the charitable trust that controls Hershey Co. HSY, is pushing the company to launch an offer for Cadbury PLC CBY that would outbid the $17 billion from Kraft Foods Inc. KFT. Hershey's package is likely to be bigger and offer more cash than what Kraft has proposed, the newspaper said. Read more about Hershey's sweet tooth

UPS Inc. UPS will hike its rates by about 4.9% for ground packages in 2010. It will also implement a net increase of 4.9% on its air express and international shipments originating from the United States. The new rates will take effect on Jan. 4.
