(MENAFN Press) AOC, part of Taiwan based TPV Technology Limited, and the largest display manufacturer in the world today announced its entry into highly competitive Television space with the appointment of FireBird Distribution as its distributor for LCD/LED TV's in Central Asia and Transcaucasia Region.

The new distribution agreement follows the successful business relationship between AOC and FireBird for the distribution of AOC computer monitors for past several years. Now, FireBird will also be responsible for the distribution of AOC Televisions in CIS region including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan

FireBird Distribution is a Dubai based leading IT Distribution Company operating in CIS, Central Asia and Transcaucasia. It currently distributes the entire LCD/LED range of AOC monitors across CIS, Central Asia and Transcaucasia region.

The new move from AOC comes after consolidating its grip on computer monitor market and becoming market leaders for LCD/LED monitor business in across Middle East, Africa, CIS, Central Asia and Transcaucasia region.

Wing Wang, Product Manager - MEA & Central Asia, AOC said, "We are happy to expand our relations with FireBird and we are sure that we will also be able write a similar success story in Television business. Central Asia and Transcaucasia is one of the fastest growing regions in the world and with the demand for LCD/LED TV's gaining momentum, we are confident that we will corner a reasonable marketshare in the TV market too."

AOC plans to launch several new models powered with latest technology innovations like, eco-friendly, feature rich, high quality, ergonomically designed, OLED, 3D TV's. AOC expects to penetrate the market much faster especially after gaining ground knowledge of local markets, while selling monitors. It willbank upon the technical capabilities and extensive reach of FireBird to increase its footprint in the CIS, Central Asia and Transcaucasia region.
