Panasonic, a manufacturer of consumer and professional projector solutions, is displaying its entire range of projectors at GITEX Technology Week 2012.

Superb picture quality, ease of operation, and eco-friendly, Panasonic's new range of projectors are designed and optimized for use in any environment.

Highlights include the PT-AE 8000EA full-HD 3D home theatre projector, the world's smallest and lightest PT-DZ21KE, and PT-CW230EA, a projector capable of large-screen 3D projection in limited space.

"The Middle East projector market is driven by growing business demand. It is no more a product catering to a niche segment and the market is bullish on the projector demand forecasts. These next generation visual solutions are ideal for Middle East homes, offices and large venues. Our projectors not only incorporate the latest technologies but are competitively priced as well," said Suzuki Yuichiro, Senior Manager, System Solutions, Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa.

"Visitors to the Panasonic stand will be able to review and sample our expanded projector portfolio", added Yuichiro.

3D Home Theatre Projector (PT-AE8000EA)

The new PT-AE8000EA full-HD 3D home theatre projector with 2,400 lumens of brightness and an extremely high 500,000:1 contrast ratio, this 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution projector embodies Panasonic's 11 years of home theatre projector engineering. The PT-AE8000EA provides excellent picture quality in 2D, as well as advanced 3D features that deliver a natural and comfortable movie theatre experience at home.

The PT-AE8000EA generates deeper blacks by incorporating Panasonic's Pure Contrast Plates, which match the LCD panel characteristics, virtually eliminating light leakage. The combination of Panasonic's Pure Contrast Plates, Pure Colour Filter Pro and Dynamic Iris technologies make the PT-AE8000EA's astonishing 500,000:1 contrast ratio possible.

In order to deliver natural 3D movement, the projector's 3D Motion Remaster feature interpolates an image between alternately created right and left images caused by the active shutter system and, as a result, enables smooth, continuous and properly positioned 3D images. The PT-AE8000EA projector's built-in IR transmitter enables synchronization with active shutter 3D glasses and can transmit up to 6 m. An optional IR transmitter offers greater installation flexibility with a transmission distance of up to 10 m.

Furthermore, many Blu-ray movies come in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio, which is wider than the projector's 16:9 aspect ratio, Panasonic's Intelligent Lens Memory automatically detects and switches the lens and focus position. The Advanced Gamma Adjustment function has been improved in the projector, enabling users to control the gamma curve and more precisely calibrate the projector by adjusting brightness Y and R, G and B at any of 15 points. By using the Split-Adjust mode, users can freeze the scene and make these adjustments while comparing side-by-side with the original image.

20,000 lumen 3chip DLP Projector (PT-DZ21KE)

PT-DZ21KE the world's smallest and lightest compact, 20,000 lumen 3-chip DLP projectors are ideal for applications that require extremely high brightness. . In addition, the projectors boast long lamp replacement cycles of up to 2,000 hours, 3D compatibility and installation flexibility, making the projectors ideal for large-venue applications. This includes environments such as auditoriums and museums and rental and staging applications that require easy handling.

The combination of four new 465W UHM lamps and Dynamic Iris allow the projectors to deliver a 10,000:1 contrast ratio for high brightness and high picture quality. Thee projectors are 3D ready, providing greater visual impact for the viewer.

The devices have been designed with an extremely small footprint due to a highly efficient optical design as well as an improved liquid cooling system that makes it possible to keep the noise level to a minimum during operation. Due to its compact size, the Series' total cost of ownership is further enhanced by saving warehouse space and minimizing the cost of shipping devices from one location to another.

The PT-DZ21KE is built to maximize savings with a maintenance-free Eco Filter with a lifespan of up to 12,000 hours, and low-power consumption of under 2,500W.
The PT-DZ21KE helps realize unique and captivating video performance with numerous built-in features. The Lens Memory adjusts the image size and location in up to three different projection positions.

Furthermore, the projectors are able to project onto various curved-screens with the Geometric Adjustment feature, which can be enhanced with the optional upgrade kit, ET-UK20, to support even more diverse curvatures and shapes with bitmap masking.
The projectors boast high durability with an operating temperature between 0C40C. Flexibility and reliability are further enhanced by the projectors' capability to handle more than 100 input signals. Several available input terminals include SDIx2, HDMI, DVI-D, LAN (RJ45) and 3D timing signal IN/OUT.

In addition, end-users can remotely monitor and operate the PT-DZ21KE projectors using Panasonic's own Multi Projector Monitoring and Control Software. The web browser feature enables users to view and send email alerts from the projector.

Ultra Short Throw Projector (PT-CW230EA)

New Panasonic PT-CW230EA projector is one of Panasonic's ultra-short throw projectors that can project images onto a large 80-inch screen with a short projection distance of 0.32 m. The PT-CW230EA projector can be installed either horizontally or vertically to meet various installation requirements. The 3D projections make classes, seminars, events and exhibitions more impressive and effective, providing a wider range of uses.

The Panasonic PT-CW230EA projector delivers 3D images. The Frame Sequential Method displays stereoscopic images by synchronizing the projector with the 3D glasses. The combination of this system with the short-throw function enables space-saving 3D projection, helping you create innovative and attractive presentations. In the DLP system, the image quality does not degrade with time due to long life of the device. You can use the PT-CW230EA projector for various systems over a long period without worry of quality loss

The Panasonic PT-CW230EA projector has a high brightness of 2,500 lumens to ensure bright and easy-to-see image projection. The volume level of the 10 W high-output speakers is enough for meeting rooms and classrooms; you do not need to use an external speaker. You can make multi-media projector presentations with just the PT-CW230EA.
