Aimed at celebrating the region's leading female thinkers and news makers, GTF 2012 showcased the current roles and success stories of female pioneers from across the MENA. The Forum also promoted the extensive participation of women as a necessary and positive imperative for the creation of just societies at a time when many preconceived ideas are changing across Politics, Governance, Business and Society.
A wide range of topics were discussed and presented at the Forum, a few of which covered the gender leadership gap in the MENA region; challenges and opportunities facing female entrepreneurs; the evolving regional media landscape; and sustainable development through science and innovation. Several GTF workshops are also scheduled today at Oasis500 Head Office and Al Qasr Metropole.
