(MENAFN Press) Organised by Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions, the organisers of the largest healthcare event in the region 'Arab Health', and with the support of UAE Ministry of Health, Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD), Dubai Health Authority and the Emirates Medical Association, the6th annualAbu Dhabi Medical Congress (ADMC) willofficially open from 14-16 October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), UAE.

The event brings together leading international healthcare companies to showcase their latest products and services within the Emergency, Primary Healthcare, Patient Safety, Rehabilitation, and Dentistry sectors as well as being a platform for scientific exchange via the accompanying multi-track conference programme dedicated to these healthcare sectors
The Abu Dhabi Medical Congressaims to create the best global gathering in the Middle East for its chosen sectors of the world's healthcare industry, facilitating a broad spectrum of business opportunities for those engaged within these industry sectors.

"The Abu Dhabi Medical Congress is an event we look forward to every year;200 international speakers and 150 exhibiting companies from 32 countries across the globe offering cutting edge globally renowned technology will get together under one roof and share a wealth of knowledge and enjoy various business and networking opportunities," says Simon Page, Managing Director, Informa Life Sciences Exhibitions.

Year on year, the Abu Dhabi Medical Congress grows in exhibitor and attendee numbers.

The show expanded from 7,000 sqms in 2011 to more than 9,000 sqms this year, with more than 110 exhibitors from 25 different countries, 12 CME-Accredited conferences, and around 4,000 visitors.

Amongst the highlights of this year's gathering is the release of the findings for the Abu Dhabi Antibiotic Resistance Surveillance Report 2011 by the Health Authority “ Abu Dhabi (HAAD).

Additionally, theevent will host the Chairman of Sport Medicine for the UAE National Olympic Committee who will discuss their experience at the London 2012 Olympic Games.


The 2012 Abu Dhabi Medical Congress will also witness the official launch of the new Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine (ESEM) - the first emergency medicine society in UAE.
