(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A national conference about Kuwait as World's Oil Capital project will be held next November 11 during which the venture's final document would be presented.
The three-day conference will feature participation of oil sector executives and public figures interested in the project, Ahmad Al-Arbeed, the founder of the project, told KUNA on sidelines of the 7th meeting of volunteers.
He said a team has been wording the framework document for over four months now, and was about to finalize the first phase of what was known as "crude document." The 14-point document derives its contents from local, regional and international development studies, said Al-Arbeed. He said the second phase would be launched soon.
The crude document will be given to over 100 Kuwaiti experts and specialists who took part in the first conference last May. They will give their notes over the crude document to pave way for wording the amended document.
Members of the projects talked about multi-faceted action in order to further promote the venture.
They will be writing documents, marketing the project and signing cooperation agreements with seven civil society organizations in order to have professional and media support.
The team also launched a blog for Al-Areeb to facilitate interaction between volunteers and people interested in development in Kuwait.
