(MENAFN Press) Al Qasba, Sharjah's premier tourist, leisure, and cultural destination, organized a captivating show full of magic and illusion by Argentine illusionist Gaston Quieto at Masrah Al Qasba last Friday and Saturday, as part of their Summer Fun Weekends programme.

Masrah Al Qasba Theatre saw audiences from Arabic and expat families attend the show and enjoy the performance of the internationally acclaimed and award winning illusionist who presented his trademark show with the best of his wide range of sleight of hand tricks, optical illusions and comedy acrobatics.

Commenting on the occasion, Gaston Quieto said, "This is my second show at Al Qasba in Sharjah. I am extremely delighted with this experience, and I hope there will be many more shows. I am quite impressed with the turnout in the theatre throughout the two days and the interaction from crowd, both adults and children".

He added, "I presented a varied new show that captivated the audience. I will try to have new and different shows every time at Al Qasba to keep up the suspense and enjoyment from the crowd which I noticed today".

Al Qasba started its Summer Fun Weekend activities on the 29th and 30th June with a family show titled 'Pirates of Arabia Adventures', while on the 13th and 14th July, the show will be all about the sweetest treats.

The audience will be taken on a magical adventure filled trip of the famous Willy Wonka's factory in "The Story of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory".

Mr Wonka and his friends will need the audience's help to stop the evil Bastinda from taking over the factory and stopping everyone in the world from ever eating sweets and chocolates again. The theatre will see two shows daily; the English language show will be at 6pm and the Arabic show at 8pm.

Al Qasba prides itself on giving its visitors the opportunity to enjoy culture, entertainment and leisure attractions representing the very best from the Arab world and beyond, as well as being an outstanding family destination with a range of activities and events to keep children and adults occupied all day long.

And they are committed to continuing to provide the ultimate in leisure experiences to their customers during the summer months to come and beyond.
