Starwood Invitational Golf Tournament in Amman 

(MENAFN Press) Teeing off at the Bisharat Golf Club in Amman, Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Jordan sponsored the Starwood Invitational Golf Tournament that took place on Friday 18 May.

With the Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel & Towers , Le Meridien Amman Hotel and Emirates Airlines as co-sponsors, the tournament hosted 50 golfers and their families and friends who all enjoyed their love of the game in an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere where great golf, great food and great prizes made up the day's activities.

First place winners, in addition to a fabulous trophy, received vouchers for a two-day golfing trip to Dubai with flights courtesy of Emirates Airlines and a 2 night stay at the Westin Mina Seyahi Hotel, second place winners received vouchers for a two-day golfing trip in Abu Dhabi again with flights provided courtesy of Emirates Airlines and a 2 night stay at the Westin Hotel in Abu Dhabi, while third place winners received a two day stay at the Four Points Le Verdun Hotel in Beirut.

Commenting on the tournament, Mr. Enda Mullin General Manager of the Sheraton Amman Al-Nabil Hotel and Towers said, "This is the first time Starwood Hotels & Resorts has hosted a similar golf day in Jordan, and the Sheraton and Le Meridien hotels are especially proud to be part of it, as this tournament was initiated for a good cause with proceeds going to the benefit of UNICEF programs.
