The Dow Jones Industrial Average index shed 34.44 points or 0.27% to close at 12820.60 levels, the index reached the highest point at 12779.28 and the lowest point at 12918.01, By closing 18 shares inclined while 12 shares declined and 30 shares remained unchanged.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index lost 4.60 points or 0.34% to close at 1353.39 levels, the index reached the highest point at 1348.89 and the lowest point at 1365.66, By closing 288 shares inclined while 205 shares declined and 7 shares remained unchanged.
The NASDAQ Composite Index inclined 0.18 points or 0.01% to close at 2933.82 levels, the index reached the highest point at 2960.38 and the lowest point at 2918.74, By closing 933 shares inclined while 1357 shares declined and 235 shares remained unchanged
Now JPMorgan slipped 34.44 points to 12,820.60, with Bank of America Corp. losing 2 percent for the second-biggest drop while that Nvidia Corp. jumped 6.4 percent, the most since October, as its sales forecast topped estimates amid demand for graphics and cell-phone chips.
The Dollar index which measures the performance of the U.S. dollar against a basket of currencies including the Euro, the Pound, and the Yen, shed to currently trade at 80.28 recording its highest level at 80.34 and its lowest at 80.08. Gold prices dropped to reach 1579.30 per ounce climbing from the opening price of 1593.52. Oil declined to reach 96.65 after opening at 96.40 per barrel
