HH Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and Mr. Madi Al-Khamees, secretary general of the Forum’s organizing committee during the opening of the exhibition.

KUWAIT----May 1, 2012------HH Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of State of Kuwait honored Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and a number of personalities winners of the Arab Award for Media Creativity for their efforts and contributions in supporting Arab media.
In addition to Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, HRH Princess Rhym Al Ali, Kuwait's former minister of information Mohammad Al-Sanousi, Sameer Atallah from Lebanon and Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Governor of Makkah Province were also honored.
The special ceremony was held during the opening session of the 9th Arab Media Forum with the presence of a host of sheikhs, ministers, ambassadors and high ranking officials.
Journalist Hani Al Badri presented Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh saying:"If we had to count the success stories then we had to stop at his exceptional story. He has the honor of being the owner of Intellectual Property for the idea of Intellectual Property."
"His successful business moved from accountancy to law to culture, media, communications, and music. He believes in a basic principle that the owner of the first invention, the holder of the first idea and the owner of the first creativity has the full right to own it," Al Badri added.
"He is the son of Jaffa and one of Jordan's faithful personalities and believer of the good citizenship idea. He is the admirer of Kuwait and the successful economist and businessman and the pioneer in Intellectual Property field. He is the chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization: Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh," Al Badri addressed the attendees.
Speeches were delivered by Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Mr. Madi Al-Khamees, secretary general of the forum's organizing committee, in addition to Prince Sultan bin Khalid Al Faisal on behalf of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Governor of Makkah Province.
HH Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah met before the session with a number of the participants at the Forum including Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and discussed with them the role of media in the current stage. HH Sheikh Jaber inaugurated the exhibition organized for this event shedding light on the various mass media institutions.
