(MENAFN - Arab News) Toyota took the first rank at the passenger car segment in the "Turkish Customer Satisfaction Index" questionnaire, conducted by the National Quality Association (KalDer) and KA Arastrma Limited (research company) with 11, 479 in 81 provinces.

While Toyota maintains the first rank at the competition for the last 4 years, it displayed once again the importance, attributed by Toyota to complete customer satisfaction.

The basis of the research is; to meet the expectations of the customers with qualified products and more importantly, provide satisfactory sales and after-sales services to customers. Toyota took the first rank at the passenger car category with 82 points for 2010 and was awarded with the prize for keeping the complete customer satisfaction.

The President of Toyota Pazarlama ve Sats A.S., Ali Haydar Bozkurt, underlined the fact that their ranking in first place at the competition according to the research results was not a coincidence.

He said: "This is a good example for the sustainability at customer satisfaction and the reliability factor lies behind it. If we summarize this matter in two steps, the first one is correct product and service, and the second, however, is to keep in permanent touch with your customers through an honest and transparent policy and set up correct communication all the time. These two steps are the fundamental customer satisfaction philosophy of Toyota."

Bozkurt having indicated that the Turkish consumer has become more conscious when the last 10 years was evaluated in respect of quality and further added:

"There is a perception indicating that the quality item is the one that the most expensive one. However, the quality is to get what the money you pay worth. What is important in this respect is not whether the price of a product or service is inexpensive or expensive, but how much the money paid meet the expectations. It is necessary for international companies that attribute importance to their customer in a serious manner and acquires a vision necessitating a firm to stand by their customer all the time through the products and services, produced by them. Award of such prizes, championships and more importantly achievement of a significant prize of being champion in the heart and mind of our customers makes us really happy as the Toyota family."
