Saudi- Park Inn Alkhobar in global spotlight 

(MENAFN - Arab News) Park Inn by Radisson has announced that the Park Inn Alkhobar has been ranked second worldwide amongst Park Inn by Radisson hotels.

Park Inn by Radisson Alkhobar was nominated for the 'Hotel of the Year 2011' at The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group's Annual Business Conference in London.

The hotel was named as the second leading hotel of the year amongst all Park Inn hotels worldwide.

The nominations are based on a mix of outstanding results with various areas of hotel operations taken into consideration, including quality of customer service and guest experience, financial achievements as well as a climate analysis and quality performance review.

Frank Eikeland, general manager at the hotel, said: "This achievement is remarkable and is recognition of all our hard work and efforts made here at Park Inn Alkhobar; it's a great honor to be acknowledged so highly amongst 106 other Park Inn by Radisson sister hotels globally."

This is not the first time the hotel Alkhobar has been recognized for its consistent and superior product.

In 2011, the hotel scooped the prestigious honor of being named the 'Best Mid-market Hotel' in Saudi Arabia at The Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards. Park Inn by Radisson Alkhobar hotel in Saudi Arabia is three years old and part of The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, which also manages five other properties in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the group's upper up-scale brand Radisson Blue.
