European stock futures point lower before the opening on Tuesday with the mixed sentiment across the board. The profit taking wave is dominating the market amid lingering fears over the outlook for growth which is keeping investors edgy.
Looking closely at the euro, we can see the euro is trading lower against the dollar to trade at 1.3219 compared with the opening levels of 1.3236; EUR/USD reached its highest for the day at 1.3243.
As for gold, we can see that the metal is trading bearishly over daily basis so far, where it opened the trading day at 1659.37 per ounce to currently trade at 1654.57 per ounce. Crude oil on the other hand is rising to currently trade at 108.08 compared with the opening level of 107.25 a barrel.
As for European stocks, the French's CAC 40 index futures fell 0.36% closing at 3565.00, While German's DAX index slumped before markets open to 7143.50 points by 0.35%. Finally, FTSE 100 index futures plummeted 0.23% to 5889.00.
