UAE's Range Hospitality to spend USD1b in expansion plans

(MENAFN) Range Hospitality's chief executive, Munaf Ali, said that over the coming 3-4 years, the firm plans to expand its operations with an investment that exceeds USD1 billion, reported The National.

Ali added that the company's USD175 million Al Rawdatain Residences project in Karbala, Iraq, would be delivered in 2013.

He also said that the hotel, which would be the largest 5-star hotel and residences in Iraq, would have 624 apartments and would be managed by Shaza Hotels.

Moreover, at the current time, the company plans to expand its projects to other cities in Iraq, including Najaf, in addition to additional plans to have a presence in Makkah and Madina in Saudi.

It is worth noting that the Dubai-based Range Hospitality specializes in religious tourism, and operates in niche markets in the Middle East.
