(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) In an attempt to increase the number of qualified UAE nationals in the labour market, the Private Office of Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced their fourth consecutive participation in the job fair, Careers UAE 2012. This is being done in order to launch the second installment of the Majid bin Mohammed UAE Nationals Training Initiative.
Careers UAE 2012 will be held from March 5 to 7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
On the first day of the fair, the Private Office of Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will honour the organising committee and participants who have contributed to the success of the first training initiative at the Al Multaqa Ballroom at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Participants who completed last year's programmes have gone on to work with their mentor companies or in premium organisations.
The second chapter of the initiative will be launched to attract more UAE national candidates. Promising young nationals will be presented with three platforms to encourage their aptitudes through job training, workshops and developmental work. The training programme is designed to develop and train UAE nationals with essential job skills to succeed in international and national companies, under the supervision of experts in the field for three months. The programme is aimed at UAE nationals who are interested in enhancing and obtaining specific skills through workshops from various disciplines, taught by professionals in the field of development and innovation throughout the year.
The Events Training Programme is tailored for UAE nationals who are interested in managing and organising leading events and initiatives held in Dubai. Applications for interviews are welcome from the first day of the event until its conclusion, at the Pavilion of The Private Office of His Highness Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
