(MENAFN - Arab News) Jazeera Airways has issued its monthly operational performance report for November 2011, which showed that the airline was the leading Kuwaiti operator to high-demand routes including Alexandria, Beirut, Bahrain, Amman and Dubai in terms of market share.
Jazeera Airways operated as a high on-time performance (OTP) of 96 percent during the month, making the airline one of the most punctual airlines in the Middle East once again.
The airline's OTP for the previous two months was 97 percent for October and 98 percent for September.
The report, based on statistics from Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation, also showed that Jazeera Airways was the leading airline from Kuwait to Assiut, Luxor, Sohag, and Damascus in terms of market share.

Beirut market share was 35 percent, up 7 percent from same month last year
Sharm El-Sheikh market share was 44 percent, up 1 percent from same month last year
Amman market share was 37 percent, up 3 percent from same month last year
Luxor market share was 82 percent, up 4 percent from same month last year
Damascus market share was 52 percent, up 11 percent from same month last year
Mashhad market share was 23 percent, up 8 percent from same month last year
In 2011, the airline carried 1.2 million passengers in total across its network that includes high-demand business, leisure, family, and weekend destinations such as Dubai, Bahrain, Beirut, Alexandria, Amman, Damascus, Istanbul, Sharm El-Sheikh, Assiut, Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Luxor, Mashhad, Sohag, Jeddah, Riyadh and Cairo.
