Bahraini King stresses GCC work, success 

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Bahraini King Hamad Bin Issa Al-Khalifa underlined Monday the importance of GCC experience and achievements made under its umbrella, stressing the need to continue such path and boost it in all directions and fields.

A statement quoted by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that King Hamad "stressed that the experience of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the agreements and projects made under its umbrella are the best proof of a firm desire to continue the process of cooperation in all areas to achieve the aspirations of its peoples," adding that the security of the GCC countries is an indivisible part and that it is an integrated entity that rejects any interference in its internal affairs.

King Hamas added, "we in the Kingdom of Bahrain have great affection and appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and on this occasion, we wish the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud good health and happiness and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia more progress and prosperity."

Prior to his departure, the Bahraini and Saudi leaders discussed in their meeting prospects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields in the interest of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
