Kuwaiti dinar decreases to 0.272 per dollar 

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Kuwaiti dinar exchange rate against the dollar decreased to reach KD 0.272 per dollar, but increasesd to KD 0.390 per euro, the state's official monetary body, the Central Bank of Kuwait, said on Monday.

The Kuwaiti dinar also increased to reach 0.447 per Sterling pound, and kept to KD 0.003 per Japanese yen, yet it also increased to KD 0.361 per Swiss franc, the daily CBK bulletin said.

The global financial markets recovered some of the balance today following jolts hitting them at weekend, reducing the credit rating of the US and the emergence of a new debt crisis in the euro area, particularly in Italy, which is the third largest European economy, in addition to Spain.

European Central Bank's comments on Sunday played a major factor to calm investors and assure them about the European economy in general and especially the Italian and Spanish, where the bank confirmed its willingness to buy treasury bonds for these two countries.
