PepsiCo-Jordan launches 'Plant A Tree With Pepsi' Initiative 

(MENAFN - Jordan Times) In support of Jordan's national strategy and government efforts in preserving the environment and reducing pollution, PepsiCo-Jordan - winner of the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence/Private Sector - launched on April 26 an employee campaign, titled 'Plant A Tree With Pepsi', in collaboration with Ruseifa Municipality. The campaign was attended by Ruseifa Mayor Issam Al Ghazzawi, PepsiCo Public Relations Manager Mohammed Arabiyat, in addition to employees from both the municipality's and the company's various departments, who planted trees in one of the municipality's lots. Sufian Al Salman, PepsiCo East Med and Africa HR Director, said the initiative corresponds with the company's values and dedication to implementing environmentally sustainable practices and playing a key role in protecting the environment, preserving natural resources, and ensuring that future generations have a clean and healthy environment waiting for them.
