U.S. Stocks swung all day where by closing, Industrial and Technology shares along with Consumer shares helped indices to close on Green following the slump witnessed earlier in stocks due to the disappointing results from Alcoa Inc during the first quarter of this year, along with a bigger than expected deficit in the U.S. Trade Balance in the month of February.


Indices performance came as follows:


The Dow Jones Industrial Average index gained 13.45 points or 0.12% to close at 11019.42 levels, the index reached the highest point at 11038.92 and the lowest point at 10947.77, By closing 15 shares inclined while 15 shares declined.


The index added and slashed points based on the performance of the upcoming stocks; the stocks adding the most points to the index were Home Depot Inc stock as it inclined 0.86 or 2.57% to add 6.5 points and close at 34.34, then cameIBM share as it inclined 0.67 or 0.52% adding to the index 5.06 points and close at 129.03, finally the 3M Co share inclined 0.66 or 0.79% providing the index with 5.06 points as it closed at 83.94.


On the contrary the index shed points due to Boeing Co share as it declined 0.73 or 1.02% to cut 5.52 points from the index as it closed at 71.19, then came Caterpillar Inc as it dropped 0.54 or 0.81% costing the index 4.08 points and closing at 66.19, finally theWal-Mart Storesshare declined 0.30 or 0.55% subtracting 2.27 points from the index and closing at 54.72.



The Standard & Poor's 500 Index added 0.82 points or 0.07% to close at 1197.30 levels, the index reached the highest point at 1199.04 and the lowest point at 1188.82, By closing 261 shares inclined while 230 shares declined and 9 shares remained unchanged.


The index added and slashed points based on the performance of the upcoming stocks; the stocks adding the most points to the index were Google Inc stock as it inclined 14.04 or 2.45% and close at 586.77, then came General Electric Co share as it inclined 0.24 or 1.28% and close at 18.95, finally the Johnson & Johnson share inclined 0.57 or 0.88% as it closed at 65.68.


On the contrary the index shed points due to Wells Fargo & Co share as it declined 0.27 or 0.83% as it closed at 32.15, then cameAvon Products Inc as it dropped 2.77 or 7.97% and closing at 31.99, finally the JPMorgan Chase & Co share declined 0.27 or 0.59% and closing at 45.87.



The NASDAQ Composite Index inclined 8.12 points or 0.33% to close at 2465.99 levels, the index reached the highest point at 2467.94 and the lowest point at 2445.26, By closing 1286 shares inclined while 1239 shares declined and 213 shares remained unchanged.


The index added and slashed points based on the performance of the upcoming stocks; the stocks adding the most points to the index were Google Inc stock as it inclined 14.04 or 2.45% to add 2.26 points and close at 586.77, then came Intel Corp share as it inclined 0.21 or 0.93% adding to the index 0.77 points and close at 22.76, finally the Microsoft Corp share inclined 0.13 or 0.43% providing the index with 0.75 points as it closed at 30.45.


On the contrary the index shed points due to Cisco Systems Inc share as it declined 0.09 or 0.34% to cut 0.34 points from the index as it closed at 26.44, then came amazon.com Inc as it dropped 1.04 or 0.74% costing the index 0.31 points and closing at 140.16, finally the Dell Inc share declined 0.21 or 1.32% subtracting 0.27 points from the index and closing at 15.72.



As for the New York Stock Exchange the most active stocks throughout today were; Ambac Financial Group Inc Share as it declined 0.63 to close at 1.62. The second active stock was Citigroup Inc. Share as it declined 0.02 to close at 4.62. Finally The Fannie Mae Share declined 0.06 to close at 1.18.
