Amman Stock Exchange tarading report for Thursday Apr 9 

(MENAFN - Jordan Times) Thursday's trading value amounted to JD41.5 million spread over 24.8 million shares traded through 13,903 transactions.

The share price index closed at 2,723 points, a decline of 0.35 per cent.

Out of 173 corporations whose shares were traded, prices of 60 companies rose, and those of 81 firms declined.

The top five gainers were Ready Mix Concrete And Construction Supplies by 4.98 per cent, Methaq Real Estate Investment by 4.93 per cent, Irbid District Electricity by 4.89 per cent, Real Estate Development by 4.88 per cent, and International Brokerage & Financial Markets by 4.8 per cent.

The top five losers were Arab Life & Accident Insurance by 5 per cent, Arab Union International Insurance by 5 per cent, Dimensions Jordan and Emirates Commercial Investments Corporation by 5 per cent, Palaces Real Estate and Development by 4.98 per cent and Arab Investors Union for Real Estate Developing by 4.95 per cent.
