Syria's Tishreen University discusses cooperation with IDG 

(MENAFN) The Rector of Syria's Tishreen University reviewed with a delegation from the Republic of South Africa ways to develop joint scientific relations between the two sides, the possibility of developing a program in the field of student exchange between them and establishing joint scientific researches and joint supervision of postgraduate students, SANA reported.

The guest delegation emphasized the need to find programs include opening Middle Eastern studies in South African and African studies at Syrian universities as well as in the geographical area and maritime law and in the field of biological and technological sciences.

The Institute for Global Dialogue (IGD) is an independent South African non-governmental organization broadly concerned with key issues in international affairs, and how these affect South Africa, Southern Africa, and Africa as a whole.
