BRIEF: Actuant acquires Brazilian manufacturer

Mar 28, 2012 (Menafn - Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Actuant Corp. said Wednesday it has acquired a Brazilian manufacturer of instrument panels and gauges.

With 13 million in annual sales, Turotest serves the farm equipment market in Brazil.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Menomonee Falls-based Actuant, a diversified industrial company, said the purchase adds a strong brand that will help it expand its Maxima business into Latin America.

The Pennsylvania-based Maxima business supplies instrumentation panels, clusters and displays for off-highway equipment and specialty vehicles.
