Qualitest Pharmaceuticals awarded FDA approval for Myzilra tablets

Nov 29, 2011 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Qualitest Pharmaceuticals revealed on Monday the receipt of approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for Myzilra tablets, 0.05 mg/0.03 mg, 0.075 mg/0.04 mg, 0.125 mg/0.03 mg (28 day TriPhasic Regimen).

The company added the total sales for Myzilra tablets (Levonorgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets, USP) in the US for the 12 months ended 30 September 2011 were about USD34.4m, according to IMS Health.

Qualitest Pharmaceuticals is a wholly owned subsidiary of Endo Pharmaceuticals ENDP, a specialty healthcare solutions company, focused on high-value branded products and specialty generics.
