BRIEF: Nike buys 4 buildings, 18 acres near Beaverton-area headquarters

Apr 14, 2012 (Menafn - The Oregonian - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Nike has purchased four office buildings and 18 vacant acres near its World Headquarters in unincorporated Washington County near Beaverton.

Nike bought the space from Piedmont Office Realty Trust for 43.9 million, said Nike spokeswoman Mary Remuzzi. The four buildings have 326,131 square feet of space and are at Southwest Burlington Drive and Koll Parkway.

"Nike has been leasing two of the office buildings in the portfolio for the past eight years," Remuzzi said in an email. "These real estate investments are designed to help support Nike's current capacity as well as future growth."
