Heinz declares quarterly dividends on common and preferred stock

Mar 14, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Convenience food products company The HJ Heinz Company HNZ on Tuesday announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of USD0.48 per share on the company's USD0.25 par value common stock.

The common stock dividend pay out will be made on 10 April 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on 23 March 2012.

Also, the company's board has declared a quarterly dividend of USD0.425 per share on the company's third cumulative preferred stock, USD1.70 First Series. This dividend is payable on 1 April 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on 23 March 2012.
