DJ Polymetal International: First Gold Poured At Amursk POX Facility

LONDON, Apr 10, 2012 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) --Polymetal International PLC (POLY.LN), a precious metals producer in Russia and Kazakhstan, Tuesday said first gold was poured at the Amursk POX facility on April 5, and added that full capacity of the facility is expected to be achieved by the end of third quarter.

MAIN FACTS:

-Two dore bars weighed 11,750g, or grams, in total and contained 8,190g, or 263 ounces, of gold and 1,701g, or 55 ounces of silver.

-Ramp-up of the facility is proceeding according to the planned schedule.

-No significant problems have been encountered so far.

-Shares on Thursday closed at GBP9.32.
