BRIEF: Manteca Best Buy to Close

MANTECA, Apr 14, 2012 (Menafn - KTXL-TV - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --The Manteca Best Buy will be shutting its doors soon as the company announced plans to close 42 locations across the U.S.

Best Buy is saying they are trying to focus on their smaller Best Buy Mobile stores. This, and increasing competition from online relators have driven Best Buy to restructure their brand.

Employees at effected stores will be helped in finding other positions inside Best Buy, the company said. Severance packages will also be available, according to the release.

Seven California stores are slated for closure, mostly in Southern California.
