Stimulus not as effective as before

Dec 04, 2012 (Menafn - The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) --The Australian housing and construction sector will receive limited stimulus from the interest rate cut on 4 December 2012. Cameron Kusher, of RP Data, said that the interest rate cut made in October was still slowly working its way through the economy. He said that there were slight indications of improvement. Leanne Pilkington, of Laing & Simmons, said that the interest rate cuts were not helping the property sector as banks were not passing them on to consumers.
