Starbucks offers Gold Card on Black Friday

Nov 26, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Coffee company Starbucks Coffee Company SBUX said on Friday that that it is giving its customers a Starbucks Gold Card over the weekend.

Starting from 23 November 2012 through 26 November 2012, Starbucks' customers who purchase the Verismo System by Starbucks at participating stores, Verismo.com and select specialty retailers throughout the US will receive Starbucks Gold level status and all of the year-round rewards that come with it. These include a free drink or food item on the customer's birthday, free brewed coffee and tea refills, free food and drink rewards and other special offers and invitations, plus a personalised Starbucks Gold Card.

The Verismo System is the company's new premium single cup machine that makes espresso and brewed coffee at the touch of a button, allowing customers to create a Starbucks Caffe Latte and other signature beverages on their own. Customers who purchase the Verismo System can choose to redeem the Gold Card for themselves or gift it to someone else by visiting www.Verismo.com/GOLD and inserting the serial number located on the bottom of their machine, Starbucks said.

This 'gift of Gold' by the company will begin from Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
