May 23, 2012 (Menafn - M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) --Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) has won a top platinum honour in the property developer category of the Reader's Digest Trusted Brand awards for the seventh year running. Its subsidiaries Hong Yip and Kai Shing also won gold awards in the property management category. SHKP believes in Building Homes with Heart and has established a fine reputation for premium developments, comprehensive management and attentive customer service.
SHKP Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer Patrick KW Chan was pleased with the recognition and thanked customers for their longtime support, saying: "Customer satisfaction is the foundation of any successful business, which is why we put people first and our professional teams work to produce high-quality property designs and architecture. We also look for new ways to enhance our service and constantly anticipate what customers want. We will continue our pursuit of ever-higher quality and fulfill our corporate social responsibility by supporting charitable, environmental and educational initiatives."
Reader's Digest has presented the Trusted Brand awards for 14 years. It commissioned Ipsos to poll consumers around Asia last year and ask them unprompted to name their preferred brands for trust and credibility, quality, value, understanding of customer needs, innovation and corporate social responsibility.
Brands that clearly score above their competitors receive a gold award. And the top platinum award is awarded for brands with scores three times or more compared to its nearest competitor. SHKP has won the Platinum Trusted Brand Award for the seventh year in a row and its subsidiaries Hong Yip and Kai Shing won gold awards in the new property management category, showing consumers' trust in SHKP's history of excellence.
