Heritage- Transactions in Own Shares
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, May 09, 2012 (Menafn - MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --Heritage Oil Plc , an independent upstreamexploration and production company, announces that on 8 May 2012 itpurchased 280,000 Ordinary Shares to be held in treasury at 139.9607pence per share (with a price range of 138.8 and 140.0 pence pershare). Following this purchase, Heritage Oil Plc holds 34,182,442Ordinary Shares in treasury, and has 255,565,588 Ordinary Shares inissue (excluding treasury shares) as well as 2,811,408 exchangeableshares of no par value of Heritage Oil Corporation, each carrying onevoting right in Heritage.
The total number of voting rights in Heritage, excluding treasuryshares, as at 8 May 2012 is 258,376,996.
The above figure (258,376,996) may be used by shareholders as thedenominator for the calculations by which they will determine if theyare required to notify their interest in, or a change to theirinterest in, Heritage under the FSA's Disclosure and TransparencyRules.
