Best Buy Announces New Strategy for Chinese Market
BEIJING, Jun 26, 2012 (Menafn - SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --The Chinese unit of global largest home appliance and electric products retailer Best Buy announced its new strategy designed for China on June 26.
Different from the previous strategy of providing comprehensive home appliance products, the company will focus on the launch of mobile phone products this time.
Best Buy stated that it will introduce Best Buy Mobile brand in the Chinese market, and will launch the first 14 stores in five-star electric appliance shops in Nanjing this year to focus on the operation of personal mobile products like mobile phone and tablet computer.
Best Buy said that a new strategy will be launched for the Best Buy Mobile brand sold at five-star electric appliance shops in Jiangsu and other Chinese cities. When the marketing mode becomes mature, the company will establish independent retail shops and online marts for its mobile phone products.
