Nov 28, 2012 (Menafn - Detroit Free Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Sade' Lemons scored 19 points and hit the game-winning shot with 18 seconds left in regulation to lead Sterling Heights over Grosse Pointe North.

Allison Erickson added nine points for Sterling Heights.

Grosse Pointe North's Maria Liddane scored 14 points.

Arbor Preparatory 60, Allen Park Inter-City Baptist 23: Nastassja Chambers scored a game high of 17 points for Arbor. Zakiya Wells had 10 points, 11 steals, four assists and three rebounds.

Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 52, Royal Oak Shrine 38: Becky Van Sloten had 20 points and 20 rebounds for Christian. Erin Washington chipped in with nine points. Rose Konzal had 10 points for Shrine.

Birmingham Detroit Country Day 58, University Preparatory Academy 7: Brittany Washington scored 15 points and Asia Doss scored 13 for Country Day.

Birmingham Groves 56, Lake Orion 46: Jordan Blackwell scored 16 points and Brianna Rowe added 13 points to lead Groves. Nicole Prentiss contributed 11 points. Nicole Krier had a game-high 21 points for Lake Orion.

Birmingham Roeper 47, Bloomfield Hills Lahser 39: Julie Pudar scored 13 points for Roeper.

Birmingham Seaholm 39, Clawson 26: Gabby Love scored 10 points for Seaholm. Josie Daniels led all scorers with 12 points for Clawson.

Detroit Denby 55, Plymouth Educational Center 24: Chelsea Harlan, Deja Freeman and Betty Ray each scored 10 points for Denby.

Detroit Northwestern 58, Highland Park 39: Trebion Bemry scored 21 points points while grabbing 16 rebounds to lead Northwestern. Jasmine Connor scored 18 points and Shavarra Patton added 14 points. Micah Davis scored 30 points for Highland Park.

Ecorse 29, Detroit Ford 26: Siarra Burkes had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Ecorse. T'Era Nesbitt added 11 points.

Farmington Hills Harrison 64, Farmington 17: Marissa Cotton scored 20 points and made seven steals and six assists for Harrison. Amber Stephens added 12 points, four assists and six steals.

Fenton 46, Milford 24: Ellie Cowger scored 12 points and Cassandra Reuschlin scored 11 points for Fenton. Elise Gustafsin scored seven points for Milford.

Flint Beecher 57, Flint Northern 34: Dynasty Washington scored 17 points and Conyana Robinson added 13 for Beecher. Bree Brown led Northern with eight points.

Garden City 49, Wayne Memorial 24: Hanna Bera-Burgos led all scorers for Garden City with 10 points. Bailey Hart scored nine for Memorial.

Riverview 44, Dearborn Fordson 34: Kirsten Chambers led Riverview to the victory with 14 points.

Rochester Adams 49, Troy Athens 32: Raiven Owusu led Adams with 20 points. Athens was led by Mary Grace Stark with 14 points.

Royal Oak 59, Walled Lake Northern 47: Sami Stormant scored a game-high 34 points for Royal Oak. Ashley Krinzer added 12 points. Caitlin Crowley topped Northern with 26 points.

Warren Mott 43, Berkley 40: Ariell Young scored 19 points to lead all scorers for Mott. Celia Somers topped Berkley with nine.

Ypsilanti Lincoln 59, Redford Thurston 49: Tazz Rollins and Arie Cargor each scored 16 points for Lincoln. Dominique Foley had 15 points. Danielle May scored 18 points and Ariele Paris chipped in with 11 points for Thurston.
