Controlling Shareholder Adds Holdings in Air China

SHANGHAI, Nov 28, 2012 (Menafn - SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --Air China (shse:601111) announces that China National Aviation Holding Company, controlling shareholder, bought additional 129 million A-shares in the company through trading system of the Shanghai Stock Exchange from December 21, 2011 to November 22, 2012, representing 1.01 percent of capital stock.

China National Aviation Holding Company directly and indirectly holds 6.764 billion shares in the company, accounting for about 52.47 percent of total shares issued.

China National Aviation Holding Company plans to buy additional not more than 2 percent of Air China shares on the secondary market itself or through persons acting in concert. It promises not to sell shares during additional purchase period and lock-up period.
