Bally Technologies promotes Ramesh Srinivasan as president and CEO

Nov 15, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Bally Technologies Inc BYI, a designer, manufacturer, operator and distributor of advanced gaming devices, systems and technology solutions, revealed on Wednesday that Ramesh Srinivasan was promoted to president, CEO and appointed as a board member as of 31 December 2012, Richard Haddrill was named chairman of its board of directors and Kevin Verner will become its lead independent director.

Haddrill previously served s CEO of two public companies, he joined Bally Technologies Inc as CEO in 2004 and has been responsible for doubling revenues and increasing share prices almost four fold. Verner, the current chairman, transitions as the company's lead independent director.

Having joined Bally in 2005 as EVP of Systems, Srinivasan was responsible for shaping Bally's Systems business into an industry leadership position,he was promoted in March 2011 as president and COO assumed charge of games, systems and customer service worldwide and positioned the company to capitalise on the convergence of the games and systems businesses, as well as emerging mobile and iGaming platforms.

Further, Srinivasan waspreviously a senior executive at supply chain software company, Manhattan Associates Inc.
