BRIEF: Third arrested in Walmart theft

SHELBY, Jan 22, 2013 (Menafn - The Star - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Police arrested a third person in connection with an alleged shoplifting incident.

Linda Lou Perrigo, 65, from the 200 block of Broad Street, is charged with misdemeanor larceny.

Perrigo allegedly tried to leave the Shelby Walmart with 272.99 worth of merchandise Friday evening. Police arrested husband and wife Carl and Tina Orton after the incident on similar charges, including second-degree trespassing, The Star previously reported.

Perrigo wasn't listed as an inmate in the Cleveland County Detention Center on Tuesday.
