Aware's special cash dividend's ex-dividend date set by Nasdaq

Nov 27, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Aware Inc AWRE, a supplier of biometrics software and DSL service assurance products, said on Monday that it has been notified by Nasdaq that an ex-dividend date of 18 December 2012 has been established for the company's special cash dividend.

The company's board of directors had declared a special cash dividend of USD1.80 per share, or approximately USD40m in total, on 19 November 2012, with a record date of 3 December 2012 and a payment date of 17 December 2012 for this dividend.
