Powin Corporation makes two additions to senior management team

Nov 06, 2012 (Menafn - M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) --Powin Corporation PWON, an OEM and direct manufacturer for wholesalers and retailers, said on Monday that it has appointed Zhen Chen as chief operating officer of its wholly owned subsidiary, Powin Energy.

In his new role at Powin Energy, Chen will be responsible for product development, from concept to prototype design, testing and system validation, as well as for manufacturing and supply chain management.

Chen, who has over 12 years of experience in the international energy business, most recently was chief engineer for Revolt Technology LLC. He holds 15 patents in battery and fuel cell technology and is a published expert in the energy storage field, the company said.

In addition, the company has named Terry Davis as vice president of Sales and Marketing. In his new role, Davis will lead all of Powin's sales and marketing efforts in OEM, direct manufacturing and renewable energy products.

Davis has over 30 years of leadership experience in technology marketing and business development, which includes three years with Vestas Americas Wind Technology.
