BRIEF: Search on for two Lake Worth cell phone thieves

Nov 21, 2012 (Menafn - Sun Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --Palm Beach County Sheriff's detectives are searching for a pair of men suspected of turning a cell phone purchase into an armed robbery.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, in the 1500 block of North "J" Terrace in Lake Worth.

The victim tried to sell a cell phone through a mutual friend he contacted. The friend in turn located a third party interested in buying the phone. A short time later two armed suspects showed up driving a silver Honda Accord and forcibly took the phone and money from the victim and his friend, detectives said.

Composite sketches of the two suspects are being circulated with the hope someone will recognize and report them to local law enforcement.
